Brandon Robinson - L5 Investments Capital Cup

Brandon Robinson

Tipsy Putt

Brandon Robinson is playing in this year’s Capital Cup on behalf of Allegiant Vets, a cause shaped by his grandfather’s story. After growing up in Michigan’s foster care system, his grandfather enlisted in the Navy at 17, found structure and purpose in the military, and went on to become one of the most successful State Farm agents in history, despite struggling to find work after his service. That journey from military skill to civilian opportunity is what draws Brandon to Allegiant Vets, an organization founded by veterans and a DoD SkillBridge Authorized Provider that translates military experience into civilian credentials through live instruction, industry certifications, and direct employer connections. Allegiant Vets is one of the largest SkillBridge providers in the nation, serving hundreds of transitioning service members across seven career tracks with an 85% placement rate and an average starting salary above $75,000.

By playing in the Capital Cup, Brandon is joining a field of Sacramento business leaders competing not just for bragging rights, but for the causes they care about most. Modeled after the Ryder Cup, the tournament brings teams together for three days of golf, with proceeds benefiting each player’s chosen charity and the winning team’s charities sharing a $100,000 prize fund. The Capital Cup has raised more than $20 million for Sacramento-region charities over its history.

Brandon is asking for your support to help Allegiant Vets give veterans the training, credentials, and employment connections they need to build meaningful careers after their service.
