Chris Bradford is proud to compete in this year’s Capital Cup on behalf of FCA Greater Sacramento. Chris believes in the power of sport to shape character, and that’s exactly what drew him to Fellowship of Christian Athletes. FCA Greater Sacramento serves the “heart and soul” of the sports community across Sacramento, Placer, El Dorado, and Yolo counties, meeting student-athletes and coaches where they are, on the field, in the gym, and in daily practice. Through campus Huddles, coach mentorship, summer camps, and youth sports leagues, FCA builds young people who lead with integrity, teamwork, and excellence long after the final whistle blows.

By playing in the Capital Cup, Chris is joining a field of local leaders competing not just for a trophy, but for the causes they care about most. Modeled after the Ryder Cup, the tournament pits two teams against each other in a three-day competition, with proceeds benefiting each golfer’s chosen charity. The winning team’s charities split a $100,000 prize fund, and the event has raised more than $18 million for Sacramento-region nonprofits since it began.
