Geoffrey Brown
USA Properties Fund
Geoff Brown, President and CEO of USA Properties Fund, is proud to compete in this year’s Capital Cup on behalf of the JB Brown Fund. Geoff co-founded the JB Brown Fund in 2011 in partnership with LifeSTEPS, a nonprofit that provides social services to residents of affordable housing across California. The Fund helps residents of USA Properties communities in two ways: providing academic, vocational, and youth sports scholarships, and offering one-time grants and financial education to those facing financial hardship. Since its founding, the JB Brown Fund has raised over $2 million, with every dollar going directly to residents working to build a better life.
By playing in the Capital Cup, Geoff is joining a field of local leaders competing not just for a trophy, but for the causes they care about most. Modeled after the Ryder Cup, the tournament pits two teams against each other in a three-day competition, with proceeds benefiting each golfer’s chosen charity. The winning team’s charities split a $100,000 prize fund, and the event has raised more than $20 million for Sacramento-region nonprofits since it began.
Geoff is asking for your support to help the JB Brown Fund continue giving residents of affordable housing communities the tools and opportunities to achieve self-sufficiency and a better quality of life.
