Mike Flaherty is competing again this year in the L5 Investments Capital Cup to raise critical funds for youth in need. Kids, first, foremost, and always. His firm, L5 Real Estate Investments, is once again serving as title sponsor of the tournament, where business and community leaders across Sacramento come together to raise much-needed funds for local charities and nonprofits. The Capital Cup has raised more than $20 million for local and national charities since 2015.

Mike is playing this year on behalf of the Flaherty IMPACT Foundation, which is seeking to raise $100,000 to enable disadvantaged youth to succeed. The foundation fights to assist displaced and homeless children in the local community, youth and families facing life-threatening diseases such as pediatric cancer, and young adults seeking higher education through achievement- and need-based scholarships. Every dollar donated goes directly to youth in need and to charities Mike is personally involved with, through board service and thorough due diligence, ensuring donor dollars make a real impact on kids who need it. He currently serves as Board Chairman for Kids Helping Kids Sacramento, a Board Member for Rescue Union School District, and a Board Member for Wellness4Teens.
